GO TO THE HEAD OF THE CLASS Go to the head of the class. Colorful heads snapped into plastic bases or classic wooden heads. Roll and move, stepping on desks. Teacher pretends not to notice. You're venerated based on your perfect answers in examination. Milton Bradley blackboard at the front of the board room. Peashooting and penmanship affects your standing in class. No one expects perfect attendance in homeschool circa 1968. Mystery Date is for shallow players. Ha, ha. I went to the head of the class too! -- 'cos I couldn't see, and my parents didn't believe that I needed glasses. Finally got 'em once my eyes were toast... Oh, well... Water over the dam...

It’s always a surprise that your kid can’t see and when a parent can’t see the truth of the matter maybe the teacher should bring the parent to the blackboard!
