Go Fly a Kite

Gigantic dragons with long tails
Orange and green crepe contrails

Flying majestically in the wind
Leveling out high above
Yet weaving on currents depend

Attracting attention from everyone

Keeping youngsters fascinated
Imagination in flight
Things that are animated
Entertaining delight.

A fun way to spend a spring day. (With a light wind). Thanks for sharing the Acrostic poem, Milt. Another form I'd like to try one day. Bill

I love wordplay, so it's a fun way to dabble. Give it a try!

This makes me think of the song 'Let's Go Fly A Kite' from Mary Poppins, this feels so free and light hearted!

Thanks, Michelle. I used to love to fly kites when I was a kid. We used to make them out of newspaper and sticks. Rarely did they fly, but sometimes we were successful. It was always fun.
