Glossy Blooms

Glossy blooms floating all around you
as the lure of the fairy realm surrounds
married mortals, to bring them to human life.

Gazing at you with such sparkle in their eyes
leaving shells on the ninth wave as they call
your name, nine times on the lakes shore.

Glossy blooms floating all around you
name your lost love as you strike
a match nine times more.

Beyond the morning glossy bloom
Fairy lovers fly around with glum
as you feel the moon and soft breeze.

The fairy dances may come to please
they gaze upon you with face in bloom
as the pretty young fairies catch your eyes.

And you fall under them hypnotized

The glossy blooms floating all around
winter in the fairy woods has come around
shells on the ninth wave calling your name.

Watch out, you might get caught in the fairy ring.

Whimsical writing, Debbie. I wonder what's this obsession with number 9... it seems the flowers are trying to tell me something important... hmm...

Saying, 'If you loved Me then you would rejoice, for I am returning unto My Father.' I find your verse most applicable amid this light it's realm and Spirit. Fascinating, and our eyes within this state can merely imagine the wonders beyound our view ? But these are as real and tangible unto they than anything we in this humanity have ever known. Let us thus plant these truths into her ninth wave and may the fairies say, sing, 'Come all ye faithful joyful as triumphant. Quite lovely this intriguing yet enchanting verse. Also, thank you precious lady, for your kind visit. Love, John

Debby, you should arrange your avatar with you standing on a big clam shell like in Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus". You have a lot of charm. Note that I have been extremely busy of late. I am so sorry that I haven't dropped you a line until now. I hope you know that I will always come back this way (until I am disabled or dead)! Your poem is that of a mystic on some level. A lot of fun to read and visualize.

Fairy, fairy quite contrary to what I believe. But if there are then on a star I'll wish them to conceive. Enrapting me in all their joy and fanciful delight. For if you wish upon a star it's sure to come in sight. Love your Alice in wonderland sense of life Debbie. May your world outside be as wonderful as the world inside your mind. Peace. :)

Debbie, Indigo Bunting is a bird that is around here..I have only sighted them about three times in my lifetime. They are about sparrow size with the male being a very dark blue and the female colored about like a sparrow with some blue on her.. Sara

I want to get caught in the fairy ring. I am already hypnotized by the imagery in your fairy glittery poem. I don't know but I find this very pretty Debbie, I don't read many poems about fairies, and their realms... this is epic, and captivating... xox~ Linda
