Glorious September
Glorious September
The month of my beginnings and my birth
The evenings cool down as the Lazy Susans and Mums shine for all to see
The days grow shorter as evenings grow longer
Hues of orange and golden emerge on the leaves of the trees
The beaches once filled with holiday revelers, start to wind down
The promise of new beginnings
A shift of seasons brings new promise
The orange pumpkins rise and take their place
The frost starts to threaten,
To cause the colours of summer to fade
Excitement is in the air in glorious September
Change is on the horizon
The children dream of new outfits and reuniting with old school friends
The yellow buses stop, causing the drivers to slow down and take a pause in their busy thoughts
The beauty is in, the in between
In gradual death, emerges new life
Replacing old with new
The comforting coolness is taking a stand
Glorious September has come!
