Glorious
Light fell upon the river
Dancing in a crystalline ballet
A sight breeze brought the trees
To a magnificent performance
Twisting and turning each leaf
I sat at the rivers edge
And plucked a wild daisy
Dreaming of the day
When love had captured my heart
And innocence was a storybook
Of all my daring ways
And yet I still hold
A heart of youthful dream
For all the joyous moments
Still linger with love today
