I have looked at it all ways, we are slaves to Ease, and we aee encouraged into this situation What was wrong with waxed paper for food Wrapping ? Glass can be reused many times Yet they do not (create a situation that calls for intervention?) And lots of money is made in the Different phases and the ones who shout the Loudest about eco damage are involved in most of the weapons and eco damage ever, but I've already alluded to that.' Well written though Jan'

YEs, thanks for writing about this tragedy. Did you see the global CO2 levels are up about one percent from last year? About 5% of plastic is recycled ion the U.S. Even the recycling plants dump micro plastics in the environment in the waste water they generate from washing. BTW, many people care, but politicians get more money from big oil than any other group.

Very vivid imagery in this Haiku - I wish people with mega bucks contribute towards our climate plight, yet even nursery children could be taught to be conscious great topic kudos. Hugs and blessings Jennifer

Its awful to see the destruction caused by man. Our beaches on the isle of man are kept clean by an organisation called 'beach buddies' and the idea is being picked up by other countries:-) hugs jan . the pic was a free image from pixabay

Hey Jan... you have created perfect examples of show don't tell and tell don't show according to my point of view. I wonder though, if your Haiku would pass muster with the female who makes comments but will not allow others to do the same.
