These strange phenomena are getting more and more frequent, until we all pull together, they will continue unfortunately. A strong poem of truth dearest Demetrios....Maria xxx

We, too, have been enduring severe weather. There is so much storm debris in my city-including big tall old native trees blocking streets, they have suspended bulk garbage pickup for a month to accommodate it. Read my poem about the Magnolia tree.

when i first read this one it reminded me of yesterdays storms, a pregnant mother and her 8 year old were swept away and killed here in flash floods from powerful storms where roads became rivers! you paint the picture well....sad for Greece!

Such a tragedy Demetrios, may those poor souls rest in peace, and I hope those injured recover from their injuries. Yet man seems oblivious to what he is doing to our beautiful world, polluting our atmosphere with toxic gases', mother nature is fighting back. Tom

Thank you my friend, Tom for your concern and your good words. I have been writing for the environment since the early eighties. Since then I have written hundreds poems on the subject of pollution and global warming. Unfortunately Man seems not to believe and doesn't seem to conceive the real danger of his action: Annihilation! God bless you my friend for your kindness!
