" AFTER THE STORM " FROM NORTHERN GREECE.

Global Warming

Wrathful nature roars

Death harvests innocent souls

Zeus' thunderbolt strikes!

* Seven people were killed and more than one 100 were injured after 130 km/h gale-force winds,  rain and hailstorm struck northern Greece late on Wednesday, uprooting trees, lifting cars and collapsing roofs. The extreme phenomenon lasted just over twenty minutes. The previous day the temperature was in the upper thirties Celsius! Similar phenomena took place in Italy and Spain among other countries.

There is so much storm debris in my city-including big tall old native trees blocking streets, they have suspended bulk garbage pickup for a month to accommodate it. Sandra Adams July 12, 2019 at 6:26 AM when i first read this one it reminded me of yesterdays storms, a pregnant mother and her 8 year old were swept away and killed here in flash floods from powerful storms where roads became rivers! you paint the picture well....sad for Greece! Yet man seems oblivious to what he is doing to our beautiful world, polluting our atmosphere with toxic gases', mother nature is fighting back.
