Oh, shiny gold
Reflect light to lead my way
Home away from home
Simpler times gave way to now

You were there
As a child went through life
Now a man
Now a man grants you your life again
Not the same, yet
You’re welcomed blurred through tears

You kept me waiting for too long
You shaped my life

Restore life
