Glitter

It seemed the sky fell out in glittering pieces It poured down in slow motion these little stripes and stars My glitter-filled eyes shining to hold them A sliver ran down my sides pressing into my skin Causing my spirit to rise from deep within Settling in nooks and tucked into corners One even choosing to nestle in my heart!
