Gliding Peacefully
trees have lost their Autumn colors
yet the winding path I walk is still in beautiful decay
a pond I pass mirrors a still azure sky above
and the cold water reflects ducks floating
the days are shorter and soon the ducks will fly away
but today they glide peacefully side by side
