Glass

When you break a glass bottle You're supposed sweep it up You don't hope someone else will pick it up Or wait til someone slices their feet open on the shards you left behind You can't glue it back together The glass bottle you destroyed will NEVER be the same You can't put a glass bottle back together You shouldn't even try Because the shards will tear your skin to pieces And all you will be left with is Bloody hands Fragile But you broke it anyway You left all the shards In a broken heap on the floor No one will pick it up No one has the time to make a new bottle You broke a glass bottle You can't get it back Go find a new bottle You'll probably break that one too
