love blossomed
            suddenly
the evening
    we met by chance 
             in the 'excuse me' dance.

dance was the craze
          hop skip    jive trip
a  hip-hop
twirl  forward jump &
                           stop

then  boogie &
swing


     her eyes
           with a 
demure look
   I read
      this open book
come hither glance

with a song
became
        a lifetime romance
