“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7?-?8 NIV
Blessed is the one
Who seeks the Lord
With a contrite heart
When the tongue was stuck to roof of mouth
From all the poisoned water
Having to spit out
Seeking the living water to provide
The everlasting drink of the spirit
Molding into a new creation
Snatched away from death
Conforming to a new love and guidance
Written on the heart and mind.
Circumcising the old self
Through Christ sword to separate
Receiving understanding and knowledge
Of things going on within and around one
From His source of living streams, cultivating
Fruit of joy, peace , love, joy , comfort
And humility of the grace and mercy
Poured out unto thee to tell of your love.
Seeing we can do nothing in own works
But through Christ that worketh
Comes an abundance of strength
Giving up this fight with quarrels of evil around one
To be pulled out away from the chaos
In calmness in knowing it's all in God's hands
For God rises the sun in the morning
And lights up the darkness at night
That one might one day see
His majestic power surrounding
And reminding of your choice
To remain in darkness or become of light.
