"Aww that's just ol' droopy, he ain't never hurt nobody"

Oh- given the choice I would- restore it, the derelict house in need of repair; yes, I realize it is a big money pit, the ad- a fixer upper if your dare! A grand facade once it had, now, it has tipped and slumped bad; it's towers and turrets sad, but, after all it was built in 1893! If I had the cash, I'd fix that house in a flash; and soon 'cause the house is about to crash. Oh, I see a wrap around porch in my mind, a great entrance with wrought iron that shined; to the fact that, the house is falling down- BLIND, 'cause, after all it was built in 1893! _____________________________ August 16, 2018 Poetry/Rhyme/Given The Choice I Would Copyright Protected, ID 18-1052-654-01 All Rights Reserved. I do so love the house, Constance, but I fear renovating it would lose its charm. Worth a go, though. I'd come and sleep in the loft. Congrats on your placement, and thanks for entering my humble contest. Viv x
