Give Peace a Chance To Rule

once again a new dawn is born
With its shrouded things i see
Is it over?Has it all ended?
Listen!Listen!!
I still hear the cries of depressed wives over dead husbands
The gnashing of teeth of men and women at gun point
The wailing of children indicating hunger and sorrow
A state once mighty now in shambles
Are these ruins the promise of peace and order?
Let us learn to settle our petty squabbles amicably
Let us learn to mediate, negotiate, and dialogue to iron out our differences instead of
promoting wars
Like the words of the celebrated musician
We are the world,we are the children
We are the ones that make a brighter day
This choice if made would help save our own
I can,you can,he can or cant you my brother?
Lets help build a better country
For remember united we stand divided we fall.

Somebody told me we have a long way to go but we are getting there slowly ... perhaps because of poets like you that won't give up on the human possibility ... nice work.
