GIVE PEACE A CHANCE
the world now is but a flower
nothing that life is but not breath
who could believe what is heard
that man fear no more the grey beard
to is it to what may but all frail
the life is gone and no say
where is my love-o my peace
please she comes to us on a date
why the pride in the dirge till our old
does this make us heroes for an ode?
where if it be our children speak bold
all peace to visit with her warmth not cold
o peace alas shall ye be chanced for a lullaby
give peace a chance to flow by and by
i see that you have not it seen but just try
peace comes only if i and you style and not fry
