Give Me Fire

You say the earth is round
But I don't fall off
No matter how long I travel around
I don't see Europe by looking up
Nor get there by climbing down a rope
Don't give me honey
Give me fire

Don't give me chicken
Change, it's too cheap
And don't ask me for some change
I have none in my pockets
None even within the closest distance

You say no man is an island
You are not an island
You are worse
You are an evil forest
Rather than the genesis of beautiful revelation
You are the chronicles of many lamentations
Please keep your honey
Just give me fire

You look at me
All you see is a sealed open mouth
But that's because you've been looking down
Look up and you'll see the hero I can become
Look straight and you'll see a reflection of yourself
Don't give me honey
Give me fire

I am gold.
