Girlfriend and wife
If wife is likened to a storm,
What of girlfriend by the same norm?
A sweet little warm breeze
Lent on a short-lived lease,
No more than an overnight dorm.
Or sunshine, if you may,
On a grey cloudy day--
You wait and wait, feel nary warm.
