Notes About The Poem

Ginger Baker

When I listen to the words of Ginger Baker
It dawns upon me
Not all Cream rises to the top
I sure wish someone would drum some sense into that old man
Is there not but one charitable Baker
To do us a favor and cook Ginger?

There is nothing like a fool who fools himself, sometimes we should keep our mouths shut and let people wonder and not open it to remove all doubts, love this poem!

I admire your play on words in these witty lines of yours, Arthur. The Cream and Blind Faith drummer always has a lot to say, some to be taken with a pinch of salt. #7 // paul

Clapton was like 20 or 21 when they formed Cream after he played in the Yardbirds....they played mostly blues. He left because of Baker and formed Blind Faith with Steve Winwood...Baked is egocentric.

I recall a group named Cream, so this must be as Jan said, the drummer!! He looks like he drank himself into a not so graceful old age.

Yes, saw him in an interview recently, when I choose the photo, I choose the worst one to match his personality! LOL
