Gifts and Santa

Listen to poem:
This Christmas was horrible,
This time no gifts,
Gifts from Santa,
Gifts for me and my brother.
Brother, have you seen Santa,
Brother listen to me.
Me, I've no idea,
Me, crying and sad,
Sad, I asked mom,
Sad, I asked Dad,
Dad said "Santa's off vacationin'"
Dad told to go ask Mom,
Mom said "Santa's off vacationin'"
Mom told to go ask Dad again.
Again, I went to Dad,
Again, I asked him 'bout Santa,
"Santa?" he said bored,
"Santa is off vacationin'," he said again
Again, I went to Mom,
Again, I asked her 'bout Santa,
"Santa?" she said bored,
"Santa is off vacationin'," she said.
Said I to everyone ‘bout Santa
Said everyone "Santa is off vacationin',"
Vacationin’ is fun and
Vacationin’ is awesome too, but, but,
But awesome-er would be Santa’s gifts,
But I can’t see them anywhere
‘Anywhere’ I dug all over,
‘Anywhere’ I ravaged all over,
Over and Over, I asked
Over and Over I searched
Searched is too modest,
Searched should become RAVAGED!
Ravaged for Santa’s gifts all day, did I,
Ravaged for Santa all day, did I,
I cried and searched for the gifts,
I cried and searched for Santa,
Santa’s gifts never came that Christmas
Santa never came that Christmas.
Christmas means church (ugh!) and Santa (yes!),
Christmas means dinners (ugh!) and gifts (yes!),
Yes, Christmas is exciting
Yes It is exciting but, but
But Please Santa,
But please do come, Santa
Santa, I’ll see you
Santa, I’ll see you afterwards,
Afterwards, Santa,
Afterwards…
Santa…
