Gift Giving

The festive season is here again
The buying has in earnest begun
Bargains, bargains I look for
In the morning rush towards the door
I enter the race of giving gifts
To climb the social ladder swift
Then on to buy some old stuff
Dressed in rich festive puff
For nephews and nieces
Some colourful pieces
With decorative labels
Though bought cheap under the table
For Uncles and Aunts
I visit some notorious haunts
To buy budget deals
Though horrible I feel

I am so cheap, the day after Xmas I take money I get from hubbie for xmas and I buy the cheapest sales I can find to give my family and friends for NEXT christmas. Sara Kendrick November 15, 2010 at 6:12 AM Those gifts are not easy to come by...It is hard to find something that won't break the budget and yet be an acceptable gift..My husband's grandmother use to start in January to buy her Christmas gifts..She would purchase then hide away toys for all the grandchildren.."Twins In Name Only"was hard to come up with but once I had a whisper of which way to go then the Limerick came easily..Thanks for visiting and getting a chuckle..Sara
