Ghosts of the Night

In dampness of night Ghosts play in the candlelight Their shrieks cloud the sky They have translucent bodies To move in and out of things Ghosts stirring around Carrying with them great fear That moves them forward Screaming with your heart inside Laughing at your awesome fear

I never had a visit from one Rusty but your ghosts seem like they would be fun toknow. There's still time to be haunted! :)

my ghosts were friendly not, stood round me bed forget me, got, when i blocked em out those few, shut off the third eye view, didna want them hot-en-tots "GOOGLE EDGAR CAYCE the American Prophet. search green glass for more info... The green glass filters out the harmful radiation and lets the healing rays through.. Im also trying 20% ultraviolet green window tape...so i can nap in the green sunlight.. no sunburn either:)"

Soon, you will have a very sizable anthology of Halloween poetry. This is another good one.

A haunting write. I like how you personify the ghost as enjoying our fear. Perhaps they really do feed off of it my friend? Thanks for sharing.

I really like that line: their shrieks cloud the sky. GREAT imagery with that one!
