Ghosts

They are the past reincarnated, emotions never faded
Ideas of fear
Awakening
Dispersing
Floating
Dead
But

Very much alive

Skeletons in the closet
Past, present, future combine
Along with fiery talks
Of black and white
A shadow sneaks by
Disguised as a guide
Sings like a truthful harp
But madness inside

Let the dead bury the dead
But old graves opened up
Blue vs. red
Truth skewed upside down
A lie becomes reality
Reality a lie
Arms against another
Brother against brother

Unless the sun goes up
Ghosts continue to haunt
The world
Left in the dark, for

They are the past reincarnated, emotions never faded
Ideas of fear
Awakening
Dispersing
Floating
Dead
But

Very much alive

They use to be beings like you and I
Only brought back by the shadow
That lurked in the dark
Disguised as a friend
But a foe inside
Manipulating
Both you and I into
Blue vs. red
Black and white
A lie becomes reality
Truth skewed upside down
Arms against another
Reality a lie
Brother against brother
Until all is dark
Unless we let the dead bury the dead
And let the sun rise
Ghosts will continue to haunt
Our peace of mind
