I've chopped a few heads in my time.
It's not what you think
They used to be pink
And fragranced with perfume sublime!

Great Limerick Wendy…… Oh how the roses must have dreaded - The horror of being beheaded - You must do your time - For the major crime - Of leaving rose bushes baldheaded……. Belle

Both the wife and mother-in-law diligently removed the bruised and battered roses from their bushes, so I certainly believe your, "heads will roll" poem! Enjoyed! Aloha!
