Getting Started

Dreaming with open eyes I think about myself Who am I ? Where do I belong? Is that a question everyone asks Or is it just me who has this doubt... Lots of queries fly through my mind Why this and why not that? What if I do this forever long? Difficult it is to make a choice Life seems to be so complicated I wish I had an angel for all decisions At times there seems no way out Only continuous unending work That goes on day in and day out Nothing soothes the mind Some pressure always has its design What does it lead to somebody lemme know.... All of it is so messed up What destiny holds is unknown But still I'm struggling Struggling to achieve my dreams Inpite of all the pains Working for a passion is bliss I think this is what is getting started I am GETTING STARTED. Hope that you too get started soon!! Fly...fly...fly... Fly like a free bird... High...high...high... High up in the sky...

cont., What an interesting and profound dynamic we now have in our country, yet many refuse to think we are worse off now than the past. Good effort. Thomas

The "Blank Verse" drew me here at first. I don't see this as Blank Verse but realize too it is sometimes difficult to categorize our poems. This was pretty cool. There (imho) were two parts to this poem: 1. The reality of life 2. Overcoming [or trying] to press on to one's dreams. May be crazy, but I thought this > the days of traditional families. Less pressure on women as they were more a homemaker. Smaller dwellings, less cost, so two did not have to work. cont...

"Hey thanks a lot for the coincidental visit. :-) I'm pretty new to writing and have very less experience of life as well (I'm just 20), so if you could please ignore such faults on my part. ;-) Your suggestions are most welcome. Thanks again for your kind words and for sharing your views. :-) Regards, Malvika"
