Getting Older

When
I listen to you, my love,
Complaining that older each day you get
And
That your beauty is rapidly fading away,
I look at you with awe

For

It is only then that I realize, how much
More rewarding,
Beauty has become to you
With
The passing of time!

This one sings to my heart since I was complaining about this sometimes in my recent poetry!! VERY lovely poetry for all women.

My dear, Andrea, if you were the only one to be complaining, this poem would never have been written! Think my dear that you are not getting older but that your beauty matures with the passing of time! Yes, this is written for all women, although it was inspired by the one, close to me, who was complaining! Thank you so much!

Yes, she does! We, my friend, Robert, have to be appreciative for what these masterpieces of God's creation (women, wives) are doing for us and express our appreciation in the most eloquent way in words and in deeds! I know you are doing all these! Thank you for visiting and commenting!
