I was trying to guess the meaning of this one. Was he saying this to his wife because he knows that she is cheating on him? is that what the third line means? Congrats in my contest.

Thanks, Andrea. I suppose it's a double-edged sword: my take on the last line was that she was someone else's wife, but the 'darling' in the first line was to initially mislead. Anyway, he's a very very naughty boy x
