Get Ready
Should you ask did I prepare
I believe I did, I’d say;
follow, and I’ll see you there.
I’ve had a life, have an heir,
left no debts for him to pay;
should you ask. Did I prepare?
I have booked my favored chair;
it will be a cabaret!
Follow, and I’ll see you there.
I’ve said a gentle prayer;
looked inside, and it’s ok;
should you ask, did I prepare?
Though it seems it’s hard to bear,
they’ll be a time when you may
follow, and I’ll see you there.
Do not worry dear; I e’er
thought about it every day,
should you ask, did I prepare?
Follow and I’ll see you there.
