Get Out of Bed

Trying to get out of bed, Which I really dread, Sounds of rain falling on my head, Making me tired instead, Maybe I’ll find a book that I‘ve already read, And go back to bed, With sheep jumping overhead, Dreaming of making banana bread, With some yummy spread, While riding on Santa’s sled, Wearing only warm furry red, Nope it’s time to get out of this bed, And start a new day instead.

very nice poetry, if we give into our feelings we would never do things like going to work, get out of bed you name it. but then the consequences we must face. Nice poem though Abe
