Georgia
A safe haven
to run away to
I need to leave here now
All the commotion
all the words
I need to run away
To find faces that I knew
ones to give me peace
I need this break
before life begins again
It never ends
I look forward to good times
the serenity of just being in a different world
even if it's brief
The feeling lasts for many years
with not much effort at all
The thrill of being hundreds of miles away
it's not much I'm leaving behind
The hope is here
and I'm counting down the days
