Listen to poem:
I have my pride now that I’m older Kissing fools fast love and careless whispers Just make me cold inside Lord knows I hate to say goodbye No I’d never ever dance again What would it take to have you love me Wake me up let’s give it one more try Pick up the pieces of this mended heart Let me hold you one more time Have faith ~ Won’t you say that you love me don’t let me go We’ll keep praying for time to heal the pain Don’t let the sun go down on me How can I let you die of a failing heart No~ not here and on a Christmas morning Wham! Should have known Time can’t last forever Like Jesus to a child There it seems in reach It’s precious something special I’ll keep trying to find some sacred peace I’ll keep looking out for angels Or the father figure that will save me Deep down I’ve always known Time won’t last forever Read on air by invitation ~ June 25, 2020 'POETIC SLICE OF LIFE' AP: 1st place 2022, 2nd place, Honorable Mention 2020 Posted on May 27, 2020

For some reason only the very special leave on Easter and Christmas; so I am thinking this is a tribute to a special person. Time has a way of shaking us up suddenly and without warning.
