Genetically Modified America

I want to be paid in Silver.
I wish to be paid in Gold.
Understand our fiat Dollars,
Are not being backed by Gold

I don't want your Vaccines.
I don't need your Meds.
I don't want the Government
playing with our Heads.

Government claims we're Non-Conformist.
We won't walk with You.
Look at all the Sheeple.
They don't have a Clue.

They prey on your Medications.
They except Government Vaccines.
All along, they don't Know,
What goes on behind the Scene.

Genetically Modified Organisms.
That means Me and You.
Spread the word to the Uninformed.
For they don't have a Clue.

Is it really We The People?
Or, Corporations who pay to Rule.
Manipulation through the Media.
It's a Mind controlling Tool.

Printing money from thin Air.
It's really getting Old.
It's time for Corporations,
And their Agenda to be Exsposed.

Understand I'm just a Poet.
I'm not being Paid.
Understand, American Voters.
You are being Played.

Thank You Chris. This poem was created after I read an article about th VA not treating VETS if they refused vaccinations. It's bad enough they can claim patin rights on my DNA if they draw blood. Enjoy the poetry. LIFE IS GREAT FANTASTIC INCREDIBLE AND AT TIMES UNBELIEVABLE

Sugar feeds cancer cells/Only a few doctors have this new information/It hasn’t yet made it into the system of education/Since cancer multiplies rapidly/The more readily available the energy/High blood sugar speeds/They suck it up faster than normal cells/You have little bits of cancer going on all the time, really/But your body regulates it- white blood cells easily eliminate/Your cells make mistakes/Copying themselves/Millions and millions of times every day/They’re not perfect/No one is.

"prey" on your medications? Does that mean people treat medications as prey because they eat them . . .? What purpose does capitalizing some of the words serve? "Accept" not "except."

Hi Molly. Some people prey on the old and the weak . The weak prey on free meds . I wrote a poem my response to etiquette. Can you say freedom of choice. I don't have to eccept NWO. line 9 Government claims we're non conformist. I see that. Should be eccept. Thank You.

Nicely done, Michael. For what it's worth, I agree. We have gotten to a bad point in our society - much more than just who's in the White House; we've mortgaged the future, and government will try above all to maintain its own power and position. We - the voters - and more specifically, the middle class, will pay for it.

PS... Michael, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about you're poetic skills if you like. It will be my pleasure to follow and read every poem you post from here on :) We are Lucky To Have you. You're New Poet Friend @-> LINDA <-@

I see you've created a few poem's. It might take me a while to get through them all. Question. Now that my poem is posted I see copy rights for 2016. Does that mean I don't have to send off to library of congress?

Hello, I'm new to poetry soup. I have a few poems. Shared with friends and family. As you most of you know they will say only good things. What I really need to know is if I painted a story a picture a scene. Should I continue this journey or pack my bags.
