Genes Are the Means
he cannot slow the pace
of population race
he must build more and more
consuming stuff galore
man surely is clever
but now he goes too far
look at so-called progress
and see but selfishness
no wisdom do we find
within his puerile mind
among all living things
his poison spreads and stings
the answer is quite clear
his genes we engineer
to take him down to size
and bring a compromise
so he will consume less
and thus reduce his mess
then generations on
this problem will be gone
for when his body mass
is hundred grams or less
his predators will come
bring equilibrium
