How’d I get to be the old fogie? I’m left generations behind. My kids…now my grands in the rearview mirror My cousin’s kids having kids lots of kids I don’t know them. New generations escorting me out eventually and they won’t remember me But we must certainly meet in eternity Wow! A big wow! I remember filling out the card at church filling in the box for twenty year olds surely I’ve made strides toward the end of life box Morbid? Maybe… Christ my living hope!! 3/17/2023

Right?! My funniest moment, I had a friend 10 years older than me. I always thought her eyelids naturally folded until one magical day I looked in the mirror and saw the same. I was like: are you kidding me? LOL

Not morbid at all, Kim. Let’s just call it a blessing we’re here. And to have those many cousins is extra blessing. It means life is truly amazing. It’s great to have a family reunion and celebrate life and family. :)

I agree. The difficulty being prioritizing grandkids over extended family. But so blessed!

Not morbid Kim, we are all getting there. We too have grand nieces and nephews that I don't even know all their names. We don't get invited to 21st birthdays and weddings now, we belong to the "pushed out " generation. That's OK who wants a bunch of old fogies at your party ???? Love your poem it hits home in so many ways. Cheers Wendy
