Gene of Figmentation

"Gene of figmentation" 

He left home on an empty tummy, aching... and aching by each step, the echoes of a broken home where dad cannot put the gin down, mom still on that pill that drowned the good kids to end up in orange overalls.

A heavy heart, a mind diluted by the fear of dreams of the future past, he cannot end up like his folks yet the apple don't fall too far from a tree....
