Gems In the Dirt
Shining in a lonely world
thoughts unseen, yet others heard,
brightness against all the muck,
competing for light.
Lowly stone forgotten now,
shine diminished not to find
uniqueness smothered, hidden,
lost within it's self.
fallen from the stars above,
landed in the world so far,
up above stranded so high,
diamond from the sky.
covered in dirt stops thee,
thin layer of dust prevents,
accustom dreams to free you.
no shine from above.
Shall you choose to break the ties?
to dream and free, flying high,
You've made your choice now do it.
let go the fear,Live!
Sparkles blasting through the dirt,
light blasting away the dirt,
purity shines brightest tonight,
Now let your life shine.
