Listen to poem:
“a mute tongue is a slave to silence” - Silent One

You rouse the proud, sung praise all wowed
Who draws the crowd and plays so loud?
Sway befits a rock star jam
     Baby, it's the guitar man
Muse wanna wield my soul
     Who's gonna steal the show?
Whew whoa slay me hits ya so far than
You know, baby, it's the guitar man
They sang, wakes self-love
     He can make you love
Being, good inside
     He can make you cry
They spill Spring soothe down
     He will bring you down
They willed, be alive
      He will get you high
Heaven keeps 'um hummin'
     Somethin' keeps him goin'
Smiles that's miles away
     Miles and miles a day
Find a quiet place to pray
To find another place to play
When out of sight, from seeks infight!
Night after night, who treats you right?
Maggies flit there we are clan,
     Baby, it's the guitar man
Sounds of English Sparrows
     Who's on the radio
Hugo and Christen know where'd Sparrow, sang
You go and listen to the guitar
When they calm you down
     Then he comes to town
Brand new deem its place
     And you see his face
When through, winks true light revue Heavens gate
And you think you might like to take his place
Fun things still be leapin',
     Somethin' keeps him driftin'
Trials that whiles astray, whoa
     Miles and miles away, oh
Words in score forlong per se
Searchin' for the songs to play
When dew glistens through the muse it
Then you listen to the music
Send clues cite bring to a song
And you like to sing along
New accounting keeps believing
You want to get the meaning
Bouts are chirped and tweet along
Out of each and every song
When blue tints a greyer persage
Then you find yourself a message
Trends worst who falls to be owned
And some words to call your own
Bent fate slum gloam
     And take them home
They sang, wakes self-love
     He can make you love
Being, good inside
     He can make you cry
They spill Spring soothe down
     He will bring you down
They willed, be alive
      He will get you high
Heaven steep within 'em
     Somethin' keeps him movin'
It's all one needs will grow
But no one seems to know
Fact it's those birds you know
What it is that makes him go
When those flights sing into chirpers
Then the lights begin to flicker
When the crowds are gatherin'
And the sound is getting dim
Their choice brings all to alter
     The voice begins to falter
Around proud cores, thick than thin
And the crowds are getting thin
Yet they severed hocus pocus
But he never seems to notice
They must get 'em a bigger sky to have their say
He's just got to find another place to play
Fly all-day
     Fade away
Hum away
     Got to play
Flap away
     Fade away
Love their sway
     Got to play

Dear hilo, beautiful words woven in the most lyrical manner! I loved this and especially reading this while listening to the poem. Great use of alliterations too! And your wordplay is so sumptuous and deep, deeper than the ocean. Thank you for joining in and congratulations on winning.

Haha! Ink Empress, I love this song tho' its been ages, but what got me into this 'giddy' state was that the online lyrics was 5 lines showing, ok-fine, so cut-n-paste to my online notepad app--I don't see very well and I try not to indulge the staff in my work--it's zoomed to 3 lines. Type my inspire, and shove the prewriter, and down I went--Hehe! Where's TOLSTOY'S signature!? Here's mines-ALOHA
