Petals of Imperfection

“We are all petals of imperfection sharing the same sun” 
- Silent One

we are all flowers planted in the sun
and we grow each day even in the rain 
though some of us are not perfect
each one is beautiful in their own way
a flower unique
with petals not perfect
swaying in the sun
like each person is different and rare
individual and special
with petals designed by God himself
in hues and shapes divine
I love wild flowers growing in the forest
little treasures with waving petals
caressed by the sun
their lives are ending when petals begin fall
yet they still sway in the sun
exactly like some people
when death is near or when illness comes
their petals are no longer strong
they hold on until their petals begin to fall
and wither
one by one, till the end . . .
