Gem of a Love

GEM OF A LOVE

Oh, hasten you capricious wind
To the ear of my dear gem lover
And a crystalline love song softly sing
So she could think, nay, dream of no other.
Go! Quicken you cast-iron clouds
To the chamber of my Star Sapphire,
To the jewel of my heart…come loud!
Thunder in her ear, ring with precious fire.
Do beckon mountain and nature all
	To gather your immortal power
And express my polished passionate call,
A timeless necklace to adorn this flower.

Come Earth, come Heaven, brilliant stream!
Our gem of a love to endless gleam.

Thank you Carolyn, this was a fun exercise for me because I, too, am a collector of stones. Glad we both got something out of it.
