Geese Friends

A lonely old man whose woes always increase
has befriended five Central Park geese
Now home in the Bronx
he just eats, naps and honks
finding joy, contentment and peace

'Honks and Bronx,' -- You've gotta be from Brooklyn, the Bronx, or Bed-Stuy. And I'm probably completely wrong. ~ Cheers, gw

My father grew up in the Bronx. Graduated from Morris High School, class of '31. Bronx cheers!

Ah, how I envy this dude! Nothing more relaxing. I recall when I was in college, I'd go sit on a bench at the duck pond and watch them laze away the day. Good one, Robert.
