Your poem really showed the pains of the people suffering in gaza. Everyday they are trying hard to survive. I hope oneday the wicked would be punished and Palestine would be free from all the cruelty.

Aysha, your work is truly breathtaking and serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of maintaining balance in all aspects of life. The current events unfolding are a tragic chapter in history, showcasing the destructive nature of sibling rivalry. As the common ancestor of both sides, Abraham would undoubtedly be disheartened by the turmoil and conflict that has ensued.

It seems as though the lessons of history are forgotten or ignored. I can’t really understand why we can’t settle our differences amicably. The waste of precious life is abominable with no end in sight. Check out my poem Israel vs Hamas posted late in 2023 for more detail on how I perceive this war.

Thank you for your poignant reflection on the current state of affairs. Your words resonate deeply with the sentiments shared by many who yearn for peace amidst turmoil. Indeed, the recurrence of conflict despite the lessons of history is a sobering reality. Your call for amicable resolution speaks volumes about the importance of diplomacy and understanding in resolving differences. I am not here too much, can you post a link to your poem here or soup mail me? I would love to read it. Aysha

It is a terrible event in history that is happening at this time. So sad for both sides. This is sibling rivalry at its worst or so it seems. Abraham was the predecessor of both sides. I am sure he would not like what is happening. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us and dropping by my page. Sara K

When will man learn to move on from war and killing? War is such a tragedy for everyone concerned. Heads in the sand stood out in this poem, like it should. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us through your poetry, Aysha. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

War is evil, people never forget so the fight for what they feel is right for them... its when innocent lives are lost that hurts the most...
