Passed a cemetery today
gave thanks
for all who broke trails
we now look back upon.
Passed a playground today
gave thanks
for a future as yet untouched
by …. us.
Passed a school today
gave thanks
for the opportunity
afforded these “trailblazers”.
Passed a mirror today
gave thanks
for the playground, the school,
the cemetery.
