Gareth Is To Blame
Wind and rain are back again
and now storm Gareth is to blame
Eighty mile per hour winds
blow down trees and rubbish bins
Up high in my penthouse apartment
living in the sky am I
It can be quite scary
It can be quite wild
Will I see the stars above
in the dark night sky
if storm Gareth rips my roof off
as he passes by
as he whirls
as he swirls
as he twirls
in the sky
Unable to sleep
quite scared am I
Then slowly storm Gareth moves on
I awake from my slumber
to find he has gone
Surveying the damage
pots strewn all around
I still have my roof on
no damage is found
The sun has now risen
The birds have now sung
All is calm as I wait
for a new day to come
