Gardens of shelter
Gardens of Shelter by Raphael tobit foster
They say this place is only walls and beds, over three hundred of us waiting our turn for something better. Some already paving their paths , some trapped in their environment.
To be alive is a blessing but to be alive and appreciate the blessings is the treasure. Not to fall in the same mistakes as yesterday is everyone's quest, walk away from your demons find your dreams when walking out of the shelter
There are many of us, some fighting for their dreams, by going for that which is on offer they are the chosen. Because here you decide what you want to do with the free shelter.
To be alive is a blessing but to
appreciate the blessings is the treasure. Not to fall in the same mistakes as yesterday is everyone's quest, walk away from your demons find your dreams when walking out of the shelter
I take my notebook to the gardens, sit among the leaves and soil, and let the wind carry my thoughts. I write about lovers. I write about shelter. I write about inclusion. I write about the wanderer the one who walks but does not break. Only when leaving the shelter does he find no open door
To be alive is a blessing but to be alive and appreciate the blessings is the treasure. Not to fall in the same mistakes as yesterday is everyone's quest, walk away from your demons find your dreams when walking out of the shelter
This place opened my eyes,Not because it is rent free But because I know what I had and lost. And in that emptiness I realized I should appreciate. And one day this shelter will only be a chapter and not the whole chapter but the beginning of a whole new me
