Garden of Beauty

Bell-shaped English Bluebells
Violet face of lilac landscape

Charming tints of scarlet
Exuberance of Maple Red

Red, white, upright Tulips
Preening of vibrant spring

Whistling breath of wind
Kisses swaying Daffodils

Laden droplets refracting
Gleam of rose-petal gems

Bluebird’s pine-needle nest
Home of blueish green eggs

Crocus purple flowers
Amethyst glory of jewels

Scented Lilly of the Valley
Blooming white charmers

Rainbow colors of Hyacinth
Jewels glinting window sills

Spicy fragrant Dianthus
Apex of prized decorum

Valsa George January 2, 2022 at 7:41 AM Amid this beautiful garden of umpteen blossoms of multi shades, I see the blue bird's nest with bluish green eggs. I too have a garden and every year a small bird comes and builds a nest on a trimmed bushy tree... and fledglings fly off ! Love your garden!

I asked her about Dahlia--she reminded me that we grew them in our very first garden in front of our very first house--that was a long long time ago--I am excusing myself for forgetting it.
