Gamers

Life is like a video game in a way.
The people are just code,
Programmed to do certain things by their creators.
Everyday is like a new level,
With new challenges for us to overcome.
Some people walk around trying to get more points,
While others go straight for the end,
And skip all the extras.
Life is like a video game,
Yes it’s true.
But there is a difference, because in reality,
You only get one life,
And then it’s Game Over.

Reason A. Poteet August 2, 2018 at 1:29 PM Conner, don't be so hard on yourself, the poem is excellent especially for video game enthusiasts. The only suggestion I would make is Line 8, do you mean A or And for the first word? I don't consider this dark at all; it just happens to be a fact, when real life is over; the choices for future life elsewhere better have been made.
