Congratulations on your win with this amazing poem, Paul. More than anyone else I know, you seem to say so much in just a few words. When we gamble on love and lose, we sometimes shut the door to future relationships. If we win the gamble, we may find a lifetime of happiness. Excellent writing and a fave for me. Hugs, Carolyn

I was once a gambler. Took many chances -even chances on life and death. Especially so in the romance department my friend. And that was oft very uncharted territory in my wild and racing onward youth. A fav, good luck in the contest.

This looks like a win to me Paul - a lovely write - we didn't have to gamble - after going out together in our early twenties and then stupidly going our separate ways, we were only to happy and eager to tie the knot when we bumped into each other 25 years later - each of us divorced and each with a grown up son. 20 years later still very much in love - I could never have hoped or wished for a kinder more considerate wonderful husband. Warm regards my friend and hugs, Jennifer.

Love has no borders, Jenny, and it can come with pleasant surprises when she feels like it. So it was in your case; she had it all planned from the start, but preferred to use delaying tactics:) ~ Warm regards & Hugs // paul
