Galaxies and Sand
Galaxies and countless sand -
so much to misunderstand.
You're more than a simple dot
in a whimsical plot twist.
Free will in every circumstance,
with each fascinating consequence,
is as purposeful as planned.
Altered winds at God's command.
Still, we don't know the secret half
of the complex aftermath,
and fail to fully understand
how we're still sustained to live,
lungs continuing to lift.
Grace extends to everyone,
sinners sprinkled with the sun.
Megaphone and microscope,
Son's arms reaching out in hope.
Connecting through mystifying prayer,
I feel your heart; God placed it there.
How extravagant to share
just a moment's precious pulse,
a fraction of a fragment of the whole.
This force can touch a single soul,
like the stearing wind of waves,
shifting shapes in continents.
Changing hearts are imminent
by the power of the Maker's hand,
who formed countless glorious galaxies
and granules of shifting sand.
