Future World

Would it surprise you if our Future world had no God? A 'Brave New World' offers just that Ones and zeros rule our habitat Technology has enslaved us, become our god And no one even finds it odd When babies are rolled down the assembly line And each baby has their destiny assigned Welcome to the world of 2620 Anno Domini (AD) has been replaced by After Ford (AF) The man who built model T's aplenty Has taken the place of the LORD A world not unlike our own Where the super rich rule And control the masses Using technology as the tool - Not for contest

Nice piece, with some great - and chilling - lines. I reckon you should have entered this in the contest! Regards, John!

I quite like this one. Could you not use it in Brave New World contest? I fear the future is very bleak. (because I believe in Mandela effect). Nice seeing you do a poem kind of different for what you usually do!
