Fundamental Birth Rights

A decent home is a fundamental birth right, fought for by our ancestors So is clean water and a good education to boot Who said it ok to profit from these rights? Who said it ok to make loads of loot? Nasty times are making people homeless Making them demoralised and weak Nasty people cause this pain And the nation turns the other cheek! "It's their own fault they've got bugger all" Say's the girl on Asda's till "They need get off their **** and do something about it" "All this scrounging makes me ill" "No one helped me so no one should help you either" Is typical of what they say Lets hope hard times don't fall upon on you some unfortunate unlucky day! Engels said "each according to their abilities, each according to their needs" "No one should own the resources no one should own the land deeds" Because All the wealth belongs to all the people and this is how it should be A decent home, education and life should all be gratis, free As we can all contribute to society in our own special way Dependent on age, skill, strength and abilities depends on what you pay No one should suffer at the hands of a rich and elite chosen few So putting the land and resources into the peoples hands is what we must pursue No more homelessness no more hunger no more disdain A decent home and the means are needed to end the poverty and the pain These are fundamental birth rights
